Men's Club The Holy Spirit Men's Club meets on the 1st Saturday of the month at 8 AM for breakfast prepared by our members, for fellowship, a short devotional, and a quick meeting to conduct the business of the club. All men of the congregation are invited to attend and to bring visitors.

Daughters of the King The Daughters of the King is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it or churches in the Historic Episcopate.  Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and become reflections of God's love throughout the world. The Order of the Daughters of the King is organized as a religious order.  Each Daughter takes a lifetime vow to live by the Rule of the Order.  Our Rule of Life requires a spiritual discipline of daily prayer, service and evangelism.  Because of our vow, we refer to ourselves as an order, not an organization.  Our bylaws prohibit us from raising funds. Please contact the Holy Spirit DOK through the church office.

Adult Choir  The Holy Spirit Adult Choir is directed by Daphne Grimsley, Director and Organist. The choir provides music at the 10 AM services and practices on Thursdays at 6:30 PM and Sunday morning at 9 AM. Everyone is invited to join the Choir regardless of skill or training.

Youth Choir  The Holy Spirit Youth Choir is directed by Daphne Grimsley, Director and Organist. The youth choir performs at the 10 AM services on special occasions. All youths 7-12 are welcome to participate. (Photo Gallery)

Flower Guild  The Flower Guild is responsible for arranging flowers for the altar for the Sunday services and for assisting with other occasions as requested by the priest and fellow parishioners.  Flower Guild teams generally meet at 9:00 am on Saturday morning to plan and arrange the flowers for the following day's services. Anyone who enjoys arranging and is willing to serve on a team one weekend per month is welcome to serve with us.

Prayer Chain  The Holy Spirit Prayer Chain is made up of church members who have committed to
accept calls for prayer when the need arises. Examples of prayer requests are illness, hospitalization, surgery, death, family crisis, etc. If you would like to be part of the prayer chain, or have our prayer chain pray for your needs as well as the needs of others, please contact the church office. We are here for you.

Sunday School   Sunday School for all age groups meets at 9:00am each Sunday. All children and
adults are welcome. A nursery is also available. We have something for everyone. Call the church office if you need more information 968-5988. Come One! Come All!

Education for Ministry known as EfM, is a program of theological education-at-a-distance of the School  of Theology of the University of the South. Students sign up one year at a time for the four-year program. It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology. Students meet regularly, usually once a week, in seminars under the guidance of trained mentors. The program grants a certificate at the completion of the four years, and 18 Continuing  Education Units for each years work. EfM teaches you how to think theologically, deepens your faith  and your understanding of our Christian heritage, and provides you with a new confidence to be Christ's minister. Contact the church office for more information.

Adventurers The Adventurers were formed on September 14, 2004, two days before Hurricane Ivan struck the Gulf Shores area. A steering committee was formed to direct the group's "adventures"' attending events and visiting interesting places. The goal of the group is to foster fellowship, camaraderie and community within a framework of Christian beliefs and understandings. Membership is open to any congregant of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, generally over the age of 50. There are no dues, scheduled meetings, or officers, just the steering committee, composed of anyone who will attend the monthly steering committee meetings, usually on the 2nd Tuesday. Contact the committee through the church office. (Photo Gallery-2008 Beach Cleanup)

Habitat for Humanity For several years, the Baldwin County Episcopal Churches Build has constructed a house in Baldwin County. Holy Spirit has assisted by providing lunches for the workers, contributed to the financing, and assisted in the construction.

In 2008, a construction team, including two families from Holy Spirit, traveled to Romania to work on several reconstruction projects. This mission was financed in part by two rummage sales, which netted $2,000 for Habitat International and Habitat for Romania.
